If your CougarCard has been activated as your U.S. Bank debit card, you must notify U.S. Bank immediately at 800-US BANKS if your card has been lost or stolen. You will not be responsible for unauthorized Visa purchases. The CougarCard holder must also report lost or stolen cards to the CougarCard Center at 509-335-2273 or at cougarcard.wsu.edu.

The contractual relationship between WSU and U.S. Bank regarding the CougarCard was created by a formal bid process issued in response to a request from WSU student government leaders. As a result of this new contract, students may elect to link a U.S. Bank Checking account to their CougarCard, but are not required to do so. Under the contract, WSU receives monetary consideration from U.S. Bank and uses these funds to off-set the operating costs of the CougarCard program.
